Senior Financial
Analyst
Responsible for
financial modeling and forecasting, budget planning, pro-forma business
alternative planning for university strategic initiatives. Also general ledger accounting
including transaction processing, account analysis, reconciliations and
schedules using spreadsheets (Excel) and other programs and financial analysis
software.
ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS:

Analyze internal growth and
acquisition opportunities and the marginal effects of such expansion on the
revenue, income and cash flow generation characteristics of existing businesses.

Develop financial models (including
the preparation of pro forma balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow
statements) based on specified inputs and assumptions.
4. Work directly with Vice President,
Administration and Finance, and other members of senior management, Deans,
Directors, faculty program managers, and external sources on the creation and
evaluation of internal financial models and forecasts that include future growth
opportunities.
5. Conduct due diligence on de novo
growth opportunities, potential acquisitions or alliances, where appropriate. Research, analyze, and document
prospective growth opportunities.
6. A familiarity emerging healthcare educational trends and the implications for financial and strategic business development.
7. Provide timely financial analysis and forecasts of university business alternatives, transaction processing, account analysis, reconciliations and schedules using Excel and other spreadsheet programs.
8. General ledger accounting and reconciliation.
9. Preparation of IPEDS and similar report
10. Financial Statement preparation

Budget development and
monitoring.
12. Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors.

Compliance with College policies,
procedures and administrative directives.
14. Other duties as assigned by the Vice
President of Administration and Finance/CFO or his/her designee.

3. Knowledge of enterprise valuation modeling and financial model development required. Candidates are expected to have experience managing internal teams and external advisors and must have excellent project management skills.
