Stephanie OsborneStephanie Osborne, Admissions Counselor at RVU, has been appointed to serve a 2-year term as a board member with the Colorado Sickle Cell Association (CSCA). The Colorado Sickle Cell Association, founded in 1973, is a nonprofit Denver based organization that works to:

  • Create awareness of the impact of sickle cell disease on individuals and their families
  • Educate the public and health care providers about sickle cell disease
  • Enhance the lives of affected individuals and their families
  • Support and encourage research leading to improved treatment and a full cure.

She is also National Communications Chair for the National Association of Minority Medical Educators (NAMME). NAMME is a national organization dedicated to developing and sustaining productive relationships as well as action-oriented programs among national, state, and community stakeholders working to ensure racial and ethnic diversity in all of the health professions. NAMME also seeks to provide critical guidance and professional development opportunities for individuals dedicated to these efforts and the students they serve.
