
Matthew B. Harrison, D.O.
Assistant Professor of Family Medicine
Dr. Harrison received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed a Family Practice Internship and Residency at Florida Hospital East Orlando. He was in private practice for seven years prior to joining RVU. Dr. Harrison teaches in the Clinical Medicine course, assists in the Osteopathic Principles and Practices (OPP) lab and coordinates the student shadowing program for first and second year students. Dr. Harrison also helps as an advisor to the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) and Colorado society of Osteopathic Medicine (CSOM) clubs on campus.
