
Eric E. Gish, D.O.
Assistant Professor and Interim Chair, Department of OMM/OPP
Dr. Gish graduated with a Bachelor of Scinece in Pharmacy from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1990 and practiced pharmacy before matriculating into the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to the completion of his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in 1998, he was chosen for an undergraduate teaching fellowship in osteopathic manipulative medicine. He then went on and completed a family medicine residency at Sun Coast Hospital. After graduating from residency, Dr. Gish returned to his alma mater to teach in the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Gish is currently a board certified physician in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment as well as Neuromusculoskeletal medicine.
Dr. Gish comes to Rocky Vista University with a diverse clinical background. He has incorporated osteopathic manipulative treatment in a variety of environments including the intensive care unit, the inpatient rehabilitation unit, and the outpatient care setting. His academic interest is focused on blending osteopathic manipulative treatment back into conventional medical care to help compliment the recovery process.
