Medical health Clinic

The Medical Health Clinic is located on the first floor of the building near the northeast entrance.

At this time, the primary care services of the medical health clinic are only available to students, faculty and staff of RVUCOM as well as their spouses and children.

The health clinic does provide unique Osteopathic health care services including OMM (Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine) evaluation and treatment services by appointment to the surrounding community. Patients in the OMM Clinic are evaluated and treated initially by students as a component of their education, under the supervision of attending physician faculty. All cases are reviewed, evaluated and signed off by the attending physician faculty.

The clinic schedule when a Primary Care Physician will be available is:

Monday

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Tuesday

10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Wednesday

8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Thursday

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Friday

10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

The clinic schedule when a Physician specializing in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine will be available is:

Monday

1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday

1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

For those students who have purchased the health insurance policy through RVUCOM, an arrangement has been made with the insurance company to waive the co-payment. RVUCOM does not participate in any other commercial health insurance plan.
