Books at the RVU Health Sciences Library
To locate books and ebooks in the collection, search the online public access catalog. The catalog also lists current textbooks and allows users to search selected libraries such as the National Library of Medicine.

To locate books at other libraries, search WorldCat, which provides a comprehensive union catalog of library holdings throughout the United States and will show the closest libraries that have an item of interest.
Medline

Cochrane Libraries

Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews: features the full text of regularly updated systematic reviews, maintained by the various Cochrane Collaborative Review Groups.

Database of Abstracts of Reviews and Effects: DARE contains over 5,000 abstracts of quality assessed systematic reviews on the effects of interventions used in health and social care.
Health Technology Assessments: Web-based resource of full-text documents that provide health information and support health care decision making.
NHS Economic Evaluation: Contains over 7,000 abstracts of quality assessed economic evaluations. The database aims to assist decision-makers by systematically identifying and describing economic evaluations, appraising their quality and highlighting their relative strengths and weaknesses" (description from websites).
Gale Reference Works: This collection of encyclopedic works from medical publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Gale, and Cambridge provides introductions, definitions, illustrations, bibliographies, and broad coverage of topics.
